Learning from failure

Is it right to innovate with our students?
What if what we do fails?
What if what we do succeeds?
Is it okay not to innovate?
Would we expect them to do the same?

  1. Is the innovation to keep the lecturer interested in the teaching as much as keeping the students engaged?

  2. Innovate or die! Ok a little extreme but to challenge students is perhaps one of the reasons to be involved in education?

  3. i think we do have responsibility to innovate. As long as the students are aware of the risks and can buy into it. maybe they should even have a choice?
if we dont innovate we dont challenge ourselves so we cannot challenge them.
